Community Based Day Supports: Maximizing Individualized Community Participation(in-person)

This one-day training will focus on building CBDS staff skills and competencies to assist individuals with disabilities to have meaningful experiences in the community informed by their interests and goals. Topics covered include an overview of how employment and day services have evolved & impactful legislation, the role of CBDS staff in supporting more meaningful inclusion, person-centered approaches and discovery to develop a personal profile, informed choice and effectively supporting individuals in the community.
