Foundations of Community Employment (in-person)

This workshop begins with an overview of community employment, including current social, political, and economic changes that are leading to expansion of opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The focus then turns to collaboration with stakeholders who may influence and support the employment process. Topics here will include building relationships and trust, keeping people engaged in helping, and communicating effectively.

Foundations of Community Employment is a prerequisite for all courses except Earnings and Benefit: Using Social Security Incentives.
